TIP: The digital interview is recorded at home. Keep your answers concise and focused. For the SJT, choose responses that reflect a strong service mindset.
Stage 3: Assessment Day
Group Activities · Arm Reach · Service Scenarios
- Held at Cathay City (Hong Kong) or in select overseas recruitment cities
- Arm Reach test: minimum 208 cm
- Group activity: passenger-service scenario task
- Assessment of teamwork, communication and professionalism
- Possible Safety Demonstration
TIP: Assessment Day runs all day. Manage your energy and maintain a bright presence. You are being observed even during waiting periods.
Stage 4: Individual Interview
Competency-Based Interview · 20–40 minutes
- One-on-one interview (20–40 minutes)
- Competency-based questions: "Tell me about a time when..."
- Motivation and long-term plans
- Specific examples of service experience
- Willingness to adapt to life in Hong Kong
- Possible English/Mandarin language test
TIP: Use the STAR method — specific experience and specific result. Mandarin proficiency is a significant plus.
